Submissions for Changes or Additions to the Academy's International Dietetics and Nutrition Terminology (IDNT) Welcome
In 2014, the Academy will publish the next edition of the International Dietetics and Nutrition Terminology (IDNT) Reference Manual. The current IDNT, Fourth Edition, debuted in August 2012 and is available at www.eatright.org/shop .
Submissions for changes or additions ot the standardized language were due on or before March 31, 2013,. The Nutrition Care Process/Standardized Language (NCP/SL) Committee will use its discretion in determining whether to review submissions received after March 31, 2013.
The Procedure to Submit Changes to the NCP Vocabulary details the necessary components of a submission and is available on the Academy website. Submissions and questions can be directed to Donna Pertel, ncpslpermissions@eatright.org.
