Check out the EAL® Tutorial to access 3 modules about the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (formerly American Dietetic Association) Evidence Analysis Library. Each module is approximately 12-15 minutes long. The EAL Orientation Tutorial is available to everyone. Dietitians may earn 1 CPE credit for completing all 3 modules.
Note: Viewing the modules is FREE to everyone. However, non-Academy members pay a modest fee to obtain a certificate for CPE credit.

International Dietetics & Nutrition Terminology (IDNT) Reference Manual: Standardized Language for the Nutrition Care Process Third Edition
This tool is designed to assist nutrition professionals to implement the Nutrition Care Process using the nutrition assessment, nutrition diagnosis, nutrition intervention, and nutrition monitoring and evaluation with standardized language to identify and label specific nutrition problems. The manual provides language that every practitioner needs to apply the nutrition care process in their unique work setting. New features in the third edition include 10 new nutrition diagnoses; 5 of which are labeled as "predicted", based on observation, experience or scientific reason. The "intervention" section is revised for improved language consistency and modification to the Nutrition Education reference sheets. Published August 2010.
